
NASA was formed under the National Aeronautics and Space Act on 19 July 1948 in place of its predecessor, the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NCA). The organization start their work on October 1, 1948. Since then, all programs of American space exploration have been conducted by NASA, including the Apollo moon expedition, the Skylab space station, and later the space shuttle.
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration, or abbreviated as NASA, is the department of America’s government responsible for the nation’s public space programs and aeronautics and aerospace modifications. . Since February 2006, NASA’s goal sentence is “to enhance future space exploration, scientific exploration, and aeronautics modification”. On 14 September 2011, NASA announced that they had chosen the design of a new space launch system that would allow the organization’s astronauts to travel farther and farther into space and prove to be a new step in human space exploration by the US.
At the moment, NASA is supporting the International Space Station, working the Artemis program to repatriate humans to the moon, and Orion is specializing in the manufacture and improvement of multi-utility crew vehicles and commercial crew vehicles. The institution can also be accountable for the Launch Services Program (LSP) which takes care of the launch duties and the countdown to NASA’s unmanned launches.
